Roles In Our Production

Roles
Luke Parker – Lead Camera Man, Lead Editor and Actor

Reasoning for the roles allocated:

In my AS level media studies portfolio I was highlighted by other members of the group to have a good understanding of the use of the camera and the different shots/angles/movements in order to create the most effective product. Also in Post production I showed myselft to be a proficient editor, with my past expierence in I.C.T at both GCSE and A Level has enabled to utailise my editing techniques and skills to a high level. Finally my previous expierence in Drama at GCSE and my past private lessons had proven I was a capable actor to perform in our music video.

Sam Hulme – Camera Man, Editor, Storyboard Artist, Actor

Reasoning for the roles allocated:

Sam has shown that he is good camera man in his previous tasks showing good understanding in the use of a camera. He has also shown to be a good editor in showing good knowledge in  editing. With his past expierence in Art at GCSE and A Level he has shown a good level of Artisit and creative abilities and thats why he drew both storyboards and he is also a good actor.
James Mellor - Actor

Reasoning for the roles allocated:

James is not an outside group member who is an excellent actor. His starring role in the AS level media studies opening to the thriller movie as the main protagonist has shown he is a good choice for a main actor.

These roles were allocated according to the different members strengths which has been expressed and highlighted by our AS media studies work.
